Before you start โ€” what you need

The 7-step blueprint

1

Find a trending keyword (3 min)

โฑ 3 minutes

Go to trends.google.com โ†’ Explore โ†’ type your broad topic (e.g. "make money online"). Look at the "Related queries" section on the right. Pick one "Rising" query with more than 1,000 monthly searches. That is your keyword.

Find me 5 long-tail keyword ideas related to "[YOUR BROAD TOPIC]" that a total beginner could write a 700-word blog post about. Each keyword should be a full question or phrase (4โ€“7 words). Rank by how easy they would be for a beginner to write about.
2

Create a title and outline (3 min)

โฑ 3 minutes

Give the AI your keyword and ask for a title and outline. A good title is specific, uses sentence case (only first word capitalised), and answers the reader's question. The outline should have 4โ€“5 subheadings max.

Write a blog post title and H2 outline for a 700-word article targeting the keyword "[YOUR KEYWORD]". The reader is a complete beginner. The title should be in sentence case (first word only capitalised), under 60 characters, and answer the keyword question directly. Give me 4 subheadings.
3

Write the introduction (5 min)

โฑ 5 minutes

The introduction must do 3 things: hook (one bold claim or question), promise (tell them what the article will teach them), and preview (one sentence on what they'll be able to do by the end). Under 80 words.

Write a blog post introduction for the article "[TITLE]". Target reader: complete beginner, 25โ€“45 years old, sceptical but motivated. The introduction should: (1) open with a bold one-sentence hook, (2) promise what they'll learn, (3) preview the outcome. Under 80 words. Sentence case only. No hype. Be direct and honest.
4

Write the body sections (10 min)

โฑ 10 minutes

Write each subheading section one at a time. Aim for 100โ€“130 words per section. Ask the AI to write each one. Then read it โ€” fix anything that sounds like it was written by a robot. Add one specific example or number.

Write the section under the H2 heading "[SUBHEADING]" for a blog post about "[TOPIC]". Target reader: absolute beginner. 100โ€“120 words. No bullet points โ€” use short paragraphs. Include one specific example or real number to make it concrete. No hype. Sentence case only for any subheadings.
5

Write the conclusion + CTA (3 min)

โฑ 3 minutes

Summarise in 1โ€“2 sentences. Then give the reader ONE next action โ€” subscribe, download something, read another article. One CTA only. If you have an affiliate link, add it here with a clear disclosure below it.

Write a conclusion for the blog post "[TITLE]". 2โ€“3 sentences: summarise the main takeaway, then end with a single CTA: "[YOUR CTA โ€” e.g. 'Subscribe for weekly tips' / 'Download the free checklist' / 'Read next: [related article title]']". Under 60 words. Direct and warm tone.
6

Run the SEO checklist (4 min)

โฑ 4 minutes

Before publishing, check every item in the SEO checklist below. These are the basics that get beginner posts indexed faster.

7

Publish and share (2 min)

โฑ 2 minutes

Paste into your publishing platform. Check the preview. Set the URL slug to your keyword (no stop words โ€” e.g. /how-make-money-online-ai not /how-to-make-money-online-with-ai-tools-for-beginners). Hit publish. Share the link in one Reddit community or Quora answer in your niche. Done.

SEO checklist โ€” complete before every post

Title tag (โ‰ค60 chars)

Include the keyword. Sentence case. Specific and descriptive. No clickbait.

Meta description (โ‰ค160 chars)

One sentence summarising what the reader learns. Include the keyword naturally.

H1 matches title

Your main heading and your title tag should be identical or very close.

Keyword in first 100 words

Use the keyword naturally in the introduction. Not bolded. Not forced.

2โ€“3 internal links

Link to 2โ€“3 other articles on your site. Keep readers on your site longer.

1 external link to authority source

Link to one reputable external source (Wikipedia, .gov, major news). Signals credibility.

Image alt text

If you have images: add alt text that describes the image and includes the keyword where natural.

Word count โ‰ฅ700

Short is fine for beginner posts. Under 500 words rarely ranks. 700 is a safe floor.

Affiliate disclosure (if applicable)

If you include any affiliate links, add a short disclosure at the top and near each link.

Affiliate disclosure template

Copy and paste this at the top of any post that includes affiliate links:

Affiliate disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. If you click and purchase via these links, I earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend tools and products I have personally tested.
EU legal note: Under the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, commercial intent must be clearly disclosed to readers. Using AI tools to write content does not require separate disclosure, but any commercial relationship (affiliate, sponsorship, gifted product) must be clearly labelled. When in doubt, disclose โ€” it protects you legally and builds reader trust.
