All-in-one funnels, email, memberships, video hosting, and affiliate management — but at $99/month, Kartra is a serious commitment. We tested it for 6 weeks to give you the honest verdict.
Kartra is an all-in-one marketing platform that replaces a full stack of separate tools. It includes: a page and funnel builder, email marketing and automation, membership site hosting, video hosting with in-video opt-in forms, a checkout and product system, a helpdesk, and a built-in affiliate management system. Everything connects natively — no Zapier required.
It was built by the team behind WebinarJam and EverWebinar, and it shows in the depth of its funnel and automation logic. The platform has been around since 2018 and has gone through several significant updates — the current 2025/2026 version is considerably more polished than its early reputation suggested.
Kartra is right for you if: you're already paying for multiple tools and want one consolidated platform, you're selling courses or memberships and need a proper membership site builder, you run affiliate programmes and want native management, or you're making at least $1,500–$2,000/month and can absorb the $99/month investment.
Skip Kartra if: you're a beginner (Systeme.io's free plan handles funnels + email + products at zero cost), you primarily need CRM and client management (GoHighLevel is better), or you want a community-first platform (Kajabi or Skool serve that better).
We built a 3-page funnel (opt-in → thank you → upsell) using Kartra's drag-and-drop builder. The builder has over 500 pre-built templates across different niches and page types. Build time for the 3-page funnel: 45 minutes including copying our own content in. The mobile rendering was clean on all pages. Conversion tracking across the funnel is built in and shows drop-off at each step.
Kartra's email automation ("Sequences" in their language) is the strongest we've tested at this price point. Behavioural triggers are sophisticated: you can send different emails based on which page a subscriber visited, whether they watched a specific video past the 50% mark, or whether they opened a previous email. This level of conditional logic typically requires a tool like ActiveCampaign at $49+/month. Kartra includes it in the base plan.
We hosted a 12-lesson course with video, text, and downloadable files. Kartra's membership area is functional and clean — it won't win design awards, but it's professional and drip-release scheduling works without issues. Video hosting is included with no extra fee (most platforms charge separately for this). One limitation: the learning experience lacks quizzes, certificates, and community features that platforms like Thinkific or Kajabi have built in.
Kartra's affiliate system ("Kartra Affiliates") is the most complete native affiliate management we've seen at this price. You set commission percentages, create custom affiliate portals, manage payouts, and track performance — all inside Kartra. Setting up and approving affiliates took 10 minutes.
Kartra took us about 3 days to feel comfortable navigating. There's a learning curve — the platform is complex, and some features require watching tutorials to understand. But the depth of automation and the native connections between funnel → email → membership → affiliate is genuinely impressive. We ran a product launch inside Kartra and everything worked without needing a single integration. That alone is worth something.
We ran a 6-week test using Kartra to manage a small digital product launch. Setup took roughly 8 hours spread across the first week — building the funnel, setting up the email sequence, configuring the checkout, and connecting the affiliate system. After setup, the platform ran without issues. The analytics dashboard showed us traffic, opt-ins, purchases, and affiliate activity all in one place for the first time in our testing.
Support was responsive — live chat answered within 4 minutes during business hours. The Kartra Academy training library (included in all plans) covered most of our questions before we needed to contact support.
